Crystal Pearls
The Swarovski brand represents luxury and is internationally recognized for consistent quality, brilliance, and innovation. Originally known as A. Kosmann, Daniel Swartz & Co., the Swarovski Company was founded during 1895 in Wattens, Tyrol, Austria. Wattens had the hydroelectricity infrastructure that Swarovski required for the crystal cutting grinding process patented by Daniel Swarovski in 1892.

Swarovski Crystal glass is sometimes coated with a special metallic chemical that allow light to bend and refract as a prism would. You will find several pieces in our collection that showcase one of Swarovski's most popular coatings, the Aurora Borealis,  named for it's shimmering rainbow appearance.
By maintaining strict quality standards, Swarovski's innovative and precise manufacturing techniques succeed in consistently creating beautiful crystal pearls with the look, weight, and feel of wild and cultured pearls.

Each pearl begins with a small crystal center. The crystals are layered with incandescent high luster coatings to achieve a natural glow.

Pearl Necklace Lengths

Collar 12-13 Inches

The pearl collar is a symbol of old world luxury. Often made with multiple strands, collars are very short in order to sit properly against the neck. For that reason, it is best to match this length with low necklines.

Choker 14-16 Inches

Most commonly the choker is a single 16 inch strand. It works very well with evening wear, business wear, and casual wear and is a great choice if you are looking for versatility.
Princess 17-19 Inches

If you are unsure about what length to get, the princess is excellent choice because it is considered to be the the classic length. Like the Choker, the Princess is very popular because of it's versatility. Almost any outfit and neckline will pair with it well, it falls just below the collarbone.

Matinee 20-24 Inches

The Matinee length is a touch indulgent, and is not necessarily an optimal choice for an extremely formal occasion. This length is typically used to complete business and casual ensembles.


Opera 30-36 Inches

As the name implies, this is a formal wear length. It matches best with a high neckline, but can easily become a subtle two strand choker when doubled over.



Rope - Over 36 inches
